GMP Technologies in Singapore seeks a strategic sales professional to drive business development across Singapore, Malaysia and Asia. You will manage key customer relationships, identify opportunities and lead market expansion through informed strategies.

The role requires a strong sales track record, technical product knowledge, and fluency in English and Mandarin. Travel to regional partners is expected.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in electronics/semiconductors, Optical Communication, Optics, or related industries.
• Proven sales record, initiative to acquire new customers, recommend solutions, and execute sales.
• Technical and product knowledge of electronic devices/machinery is preferred.
• Knowledge of developing successful business strategies.
• Knowledge of latest market trends imperative for penetrating new markets.
• Data analytics skills to inform decisions.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin; Japanese is an advantage for communication with counterparts.
• Ability to travel, including overseas travel.

Responsabilités

• Part of the strategic planning team focusing on business development while maintaining relationships with key customers.
• Builds networks, manages relationships, seeks and identifies business opportunities in Singapore, Malaysia and the Asian region.
• Develops and executes strategies to drive business in new and existing markets.
• Sales of products through specialized knowledge of the products and understanding of customer needs.
• Performs cost-benefit analyses.
• Follow up on payment status or help resolve shipment issues.
• Collaborate with Design Team to provide customized solutions based on customer requirements.
• Make independent business decisions and conduct due diligence for prospective partners.
• Support management on budget preparation.
