Job summary

Saxo Bank seeks an experienced leader to drive institutional growth in Asia, developing partnerships with banks, brokers and asset managers. You will own the partner lifecycle from pipeline to onboarding, coordinating across solutions, API, onboarding and compliance to deliver a seamless experience.

The role requires 10+ years in financial markets, a proven BD track record, and ability to engage with senior stakeholders. Travel across Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia will be expected.

Qualifications

• More than 10 years of relevant experience and strong understanding of financial markets, with a background in tech, financial technology, brokerage and/or wealth management solutions.
• CMFAS RES1B, RES2B, RES 5, CM-EIP, CM-SIP certifications will have added advantage.
• Proven track record in business development and relationship management in financial technology / similar industry.
• Able to engage with stakeholders from CEO to working level.
• Solution oriented thinking with focus on leveraging technology, automation and scale.
• Good understanding of liquid capital markets product, e.g. equities, futures, options, FX.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the institutional growth strategy for Asia, covering the full partner lifecycle from pipeline development to onboarding and relationship management.
• Drive new institutional client acquisition by building a strong pipeline and converting high-potential prospects.
• Own and grow a portfolio of institutional clients and partners with deep understanding of their business models.
• Build trusted relationships with C-suite & senior decision-makers to develop strategic growth plans.
• Coordinate with solutions, products, sales trading, API, onboarding and compliance teams to deliver integrated partner experiences.
• Anticipate partners’ evolving needs and market trends to support sustainable growth.
