Our client, a Japanese manufacturer, seeks an Assistant Manager/Manager to drive new business in the ASEAN region from Singapore. You will identify customers, present the portfolio, gather requirements, and negotiate pricing while coordinating with Japan-based teams to bring products to mass production.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, project management, and strong communication, with regional exposure and potential collaboration with Japan HQ.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Sales or Sales Engineering.
• Strong teamwork mindset and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Interest in and motivation to challenge new business development.
• Proactive, positive, and self-driven attitude.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and develop new customers in the ASEAN region.
• Introduce the company’s product portfolio to untapped accounts.
• Conduct customer requirement gathering, technical discussions, and price negotiations.
• Support mass-production launch activities for new business opportunities.
• Coordinate product specifications with suppliers and Japan-based engineering teams.
• Manage projects from initial inquiry through mass-production stage.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts.
• Act as the main point of contact for customer communication.
• Handle delivery coordination and respond to customer-related issues.
• Manage PSI (Production, Sales, Inventory) and sales performance.
• Monitor sales progress and support revenue growth.
