Job summary

Our client, a Japanese manufacturer, seeks an Assistant Manager/Manager based in Singapore. You will identify and develop new ASEAN customers, introduce product portfolios, and lead technical discussions with customers and suppliers.

You will coordinate with Japan HQ, manage mass-production launches, and drive sales performance while maintaining strong customer relationships. A proactive, collaborative, and communicative profile is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Sales or Sales Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers in the ASEAN region.
• Introduce the company’s product portfolio to untapped accounts.
• Conduct customer requirement gathering, technical discussions, and price negotiations.
• Support mass-production launch activities for new business opportunities.
• Coordinate product specifications with suppliers and Japan-based engineering teams.
• Manage projects from initial inquiry through mass-production stage.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts.
• Act as the main point of contact for customer communication.
• Handle delivery coordination and respond to customer-related issues.
• Manage PSI (Production, Sales, Inventory) and sales performance.
• Monitor sales progress and support revenue growth.
