Job summary

Genetec Singapore is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive technical discovery, solution design, and live demonstrations for ASEAN markets. You will partner with regional sales managers, channel partners, consultants, and internal specialists to shape customer proposals and proof‑of‑concept engagements.

Travel regionally as needed to meet customers, run workshops, and support deployments. The successful candidate combines deep technical depth with business acumen and clear communication to both

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in engineering, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years in pre-sales engineering, solution consulting, systems integration, or similar customer-facing role.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into solution architectures and technical proposals.
• Experience supporting channel partners, consultants, and system integrators is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions with end users, channel partners, and consultants to understand requirements.
• Translate requirements into solution architectures, sizing, BOMs, and technical content.
• Plan and deliver tailored product demonstrations, workshops, and POC engagements.
• Support RFP/RFI/tender responses with accurate technical information.
• Validate technical fit and document assumptions for qualified opportunities, elevating risks early.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for complex designs, integrations, and deployments.
• Build strong technical relationships with customers and partners to expand Genetec usage.
