Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Singapore seeks an Area General Manager to lead the management, development and growth of a CBRE account portfolio. You will oversee P&L, QHSE, regulatory compliance, people and talent management, operations, and business development while mentoring Contract Managers.

This role sits within our Local facilities management team, delivering locally led solutions with deep technical expertise and strong client care standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities management.
• Proven track record in management and team leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles; ability to analyze financials.
• Able to lead meetings and present to groups; comfortable in sales-pitch environments.
• SIFMA certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coaching to direct reports across contracts.
• Ensure optimal resource levels and cost control; deliver service excellence.
• Collaborate with other leaders for cross-functional development and RISE-aligned culture.
• Recruit, onboard and develop Contract Managers; foster learning and succession planning.
• Maintain governance, regulatory compliance and client satisfaction metrics.
• Mobilise new contracts and ensure smooth Sales to operations handover.
• Identify opportunities for organic growth and retention across portfolio.
• Manage portfolio P&L and financial plans, debt and cost control.
• Build and nurture client relationships and stakeholder networks.
