Job summary

Koh Brothers Group of Companies in Singapore seeks an experienced Architect Coordinator to oversee architectural activities on building sites, ensuring designs meet specifications and project goals.

You will coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors, manage shop drawings, approvals, and on-site implementation, and maintain thorough project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of practical experience on building sites in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design and construction processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Project Location: Lorong Halus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate architectural activities and ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Monitor construction progress to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Manage architectural work scheduling, from shop drawings preparations, materials approval, trials/mock-ups, to actual implementation on site and handover.
• Ensure architectural designs are correctly implemented on-site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with architectural plans and regulatory requirements.
• Address discrepancies between design and construction, providing solutions as needed.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including drawings, reports, and correspondence.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status.
• Assist in preparing presentation materials for client and stakeholder meetings.
• Conduct audits to verify construction work meets standards.
• Address quality issues to maintain project integrity.
• Serve as primary contact for architectural matters on-site.
• Communicate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to align requirements.
• Verify variation orders and prepare back charges.
• Check compliance with TOP checklist and RI (Arch).
• Liaise with regulatory agencies to obtain approvals and permits.

This role involves coordinating architectural aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.
