We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Architectural Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Singapore’s construction sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating architectural and technical aspects of projects, ensuring that design intent is realized on-site in compliance with regulatory standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and construction documents to ensure compliance with design intent, codes, and regulations (e.g., BCA, URA, FSSD).
- Work closely with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve architectural and technical issues on-site.
- Liaise with authorities and assist in the preparation and submission of documents for statutory approvals (e.g., BP, WP, TOP, CSC).
- Monitor and report on architectural work progress, site inspections, and non-conformities.
- Ensure timely coordination between architectural and other disciplines (structural, M&E, etc.).
- Attend site meetings, design coordination meetings, and report outcomes to project team.
- Maintain proper documentation of design changes, correspondences, and site instructions.
- Ensure that all architectural work complies with workplace safety and health standards.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in architectural coordination, preferably within Singapore’s construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of local codes, regulations, and authority submission processes (e.g., BCA, URA, FSSD).
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
- Familiarity with BIM coordination and software (e.g., Navisworks).
- Good understanding of construction methodologies and site implementation practices.
