Job summary

Swift Search Global Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Architectural Coordinator to support the coordination and delivery of architectural works for building construction projects in Jurong, Singapore.

The role involves close collaboration with architects, consultants and subcontractors to ensure design intent, quality, and schedules are met. The ideal candidate has a degree or diploma in an architectural discipline and hands-on experience with AutoCAD, with exposure to large-scale residential projects

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Experience coordinating architectural works in building construction projects.
• Experience with large-scale residential projects (e.g., HDB) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate architectural drawings, technical submissions and project documentation.
• Review shop drawings and material submissions for compliance.
• Liaise with architects, consultants, subcontractors and project teams.
• Coordinate interfaces with structural, M&E and other disciplines.
• Identify and resolve coordination issues and ensure schedules are met.
• Monitor progress of architectural works and quality of finishes.
• Coordinate mock-ups, samples and material approvals.
• Track procurement, approvals and delivery schedules.
• Maintain coordination records and documentation.

Architectural Coordinator (Building Construction)

Salary: S$3,500 – S$5,500 per month

Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Architectural Coordinators to support the coordination and delivery of architectural works for building construction projects.

The successful candidates will work closely with architects, consultants, subcontractors and project teams to coordinate architectural drawings, finishes, materials and interfaces, ensuring works are completed according to project requirements, quality standards and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate architectural drawings, technical submissions and project documentation.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions and relevant technical documents.
• Liaise with architects, consultants, subcontractors and project teams on architectural matters.
• Coordinate architectural works and interfaces with structural, M&E and other building disciplines.
• Identify and resolve architectural and site coordination issues.
• Monitor the progress of architectural works to support project schedules.
• Monitor workmanship and quality of internal and external architectural finishes.
• Coordinate mock-ups, samples and material approval processes.
• Track architectural material procurement, approvals and delivery schedules.
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with site teams and subcontractors to address technical and construction issues.
• Maintain relevant architectural coordination records and documentation.
• Perform other relevant duties assigned in support of project delivery.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in architectural coordination within the building construction industry.
• Experience in HDB or similar large-scale residential construction projects will be an advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Able to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
• Good understanding of architectural finishes, materials and construction interfaces.
• Experience coordinating shop drawings and material submissions will be advantageous.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Able to work effectively with consultants, subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
