Job summary

TRACE DESIGN + BUILD PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Architectural Coordinator to oversee all aspects of coordination and installation on construction sites.

You will work with subcontractors, review drawings, and act as the main contact for architectural issues to ensure timely, accurate design delivery. The role requires a Degree or Diploma in Architectural/Engineering/Construction and at least 5 years in building construction, with a focus on high-end residential projects.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Architectural/Engineering/ Construction or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in building construction, with at least 3 years in high-end residential projects.
• Ability to read construction drawings, detailing, and documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar software.
• On-site work readiness; open to Singapore PRs and Citizens only.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the architectural coordination and installation process on construction sites.
• Coordinate with architectural subcontractors to ensure scheduling, communication, and execution of design plans.
• Develop and review architectural drawings, detailing, and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all architectural-related issues on the construction site and resolve disputes or challenges.
• Collaborate with project managers, project engineers, and management to align architectural plans with project goals.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with architectural specs.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and records related to architectural coordination activities.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and communication to coordinate with client, subcontractors, project team, and other parties.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Architectural/Engineering/ Construction or any other discipline related to Building Construction
• At least 5 years of experience in the building construction field, with a strong preference for at least 3 years of experience especially focused on high-end residential projects
• Able to read and understand construction technical drawings, detailing & documentation
• Proficiency in architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Sketchup, etc.)
• Familiarity with coordination across disciplines (Structural, M&E, and ID)
• Willing to work on-site
• Open to Singapore PRs and Citizens only.
