Job summary

NB Development Group is seeking an experienced Architect/Site Supervisor to lead all architectural works on the project, ensuring timely execution and high-quality workmanship.

You will ensure compliance with BCA Quality Mark and CONQUAS standards, review shop drawings and material submissions, coordinate with site engineers, consultants and subcontractors, and mentor junior supervisors while prioritising safety.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Building, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of BCA Quality Mark and CONQUAS standards and assessment criteria.
  • Proficient in interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities on site.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage all architectural works at the project site.
  • Ensure compliance with BCA Quality Mark and CONQUAS standards; conduct inspections.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and trades to ensure smooth progress of architectural works.
  • Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
  • Plan and supervise architectural finishing works such as tiling, painting, ceiling, doors, windows, and external works.
  • Carry out inspections, trade demonstrations, and mock-ups to ensure workmanship meets approved standards.
  • Support and lead pre-inspections and inspections with consultants and authorities for TOP, QP, and RI submissions.
  • Identify defects early and drive prompt rectification to meet quality benchmarks.
  • Liaise with the QA/QC team to implement and maintain a robust quality control plan for architectural elements.
  • Track material usage and ensure proper storage and handling of architectural finishes.
  • Prepare reports and updates on architectural progress and quality performance.
  • Mentor junior supervisors and provide technical guidance on-site.
  • Ensure safe working practices are implemented and adhered to in all architectural activities.
  • Plan and forecast material quantity requirements at least three months in advance to ensure timely procurement and avoid project delays.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
