Job summary

NB DEVELOPMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Diploma/ Degree-qualified Architect to supervise all architectural works at the project site, ensuring timely execution and quality workmanship.

You will coordinate with site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and QA/QC to uphold BCA Quality Mark and CONQUAS standards, review shop drawings, and mentor junior supervisors. This on-site role requires independent management of priorities, safety compliance, and proactive material planning to prevent delays.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Building, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of BCA Quality Mark and CONQUAS standards and assessment criteria.
• Proficient in interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities on site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all architectural works at the project site, ensuring timely execution and quality workmanship.
• Ensure compliance with BCA Quality Mark and CONQUAS standards; conduct inspections and coordinate rectifications.
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and other trades for smooth progress.
• Review and monitor shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions for design alignment.
• Plan and supervise finishing works such as tiling, painting, ceilings, doors, windows, and external works.
• Carry out inspections, demonstrations, and mock-ups to meet approved standards.
• Lead pre-inspections and inspections with consultants and authorities for TOP, QP, and RI submissions.
• Identify defects early and drive prompt rectification to meet quality benchmarks.
• Liaise with QA/QC to implement a robust quality control plan for architectural elements.
• Track material usage and ensure proper storage and handling of finishes.
• Prepare reports on progress and quality performance; mentor junior supervisors.
• Ensure safe working practices on site.
• Forecast material quantity requirements at least three months in advance to avoid delays.
• Any other duties as assigned.
