Job summary

Shecey (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Sales Engineer to manage opportunities from prospecting through to order confirmation. You will work with our technical team on calibration and service needs, and build trusted relationships with customers in water analysis, environmental monitoring and industrial processes.

The role emphasizes developing product knowledge, communicating clearly, and identifying new sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction and accurate CRM records.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen carefully and build trusted customer relationships.
• Self-motivated, organised and disciplined in following through on opportunities and commitments.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with a lean, multi-functional team.
• Proven ability to understand and explain technical products and applications clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-depth knowledge of analytical, environmental and process instrumentation and assist in product selection, proposals and order conversion.
• Identify prospective customers and develop new sales opportunities while growing relationships with existing accounts.
• Understand customer applications and operating requirements, then recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and training to guide customers in operation and use of instruments.
• Provide pre- and post-sale technical support and coordinate with the technical team for calibration, fault diagnosis and service.
• Manage leads, quotations, follow-ups and negotiations to meet sales targets.
• Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system and share market insights with management.
