Job summary

ADM Investor Services Singapore is seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst to provide global follow-the-sun support for trading, post-trade, and operational applications. You will work with internal teams and external vendors to ensure system stability, performance, and timely issue resolution across our trading environment.

The role requires strong MS-SQL/T-SQL skills, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Ruby), and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in a global financial services or FCM environment with understanding of the trade lifecycle especially exchange-traded derivatives, FX and equities.
• Experience supporting trading, order routing, clearing, or post-trade systems is preferred.
• Technical skills in MS-SQL Administration & T-SQL (stored procedures, queries, performance tuning). Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Powershell and Ruby.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across global teams.
• Proactive, adaptable team player with customer-focused mindset

Responsibilities

• Provide follow-the-sun support for trading, post-trade, and operational applications.

Your Responsibilities

ADMIS seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst to join our Global Application Support team. This role provides follow-the-sun support for trading, post-trade, and operational applications used across our global business. The successful candidate will support mission‑critical systems, ensure stability and performance, and work closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high‑quality service to the business.

Application Support & Maintenance

• Support and administration of clustered and non-clustered Microsoft SQL Servers across all environments.
• Support and administration of multiple third party and in-house applications within a production setting.
• Provide Tier 1 to Tier 3 support for trading, market data, post‑trade, and operational applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintenance and support of FIX messaging interfaces.

Operational Responsibilities

• Manage incidents, service requests, and problems through the IT ticketing system, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain technical and operational documentation.
• Assist with application release planning, deployment, and post‑release validation.
• Assist with operational resilience and disaster recovery exercises.
• Create ad‑hoc data queries for Clients, Management and Internal departments.
• Participate in service transition activities for new or enhanced applications.
• Preparing and maintaining environments for development, UAT or SIT use.

Collaboration & Vendor Interaction

• Work closely with global development, settlement, treasury, trading platform support, infrastructure and IT teams.
• Liaise with software vendors and service providers to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
• Participate in IT and business meetings as required.

Continuous Improvement

• Recommend best practices, process improvements, and opportunities for automation.
• Evaluate and test new technologies and applications relevant to trading and post‑trade environments.

Other Responsibilities

• Contribute to the global follow‑the‑sun support model, including occasional weekend/on-call coverage.
• Support additional projects and tasks assigned by the Manager.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in a global financial services or FCM environment with understanding of the trade lifecycle especially exchange‑traded derivatives, FX and equities.
• Experience supporting trading, order routing, clearing, or post‑trade systems is preferred.
