Job summary

EXASOFT PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a 24x7 environment.

You will work with Linux, Unix shell scripting, SQL (MariaDB), and Java, handle Hadoop and Kubernetes/VMware related tasks, and contribute to incident resolution and implementation projects within financial institutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an application support environment.
• Hands-on with Linux, Unix shell scripting, SQL (MariaDB), and Java.
• Experience with Hadoop, Kubernetes/VMware, and microservices is a plus.
• Experience in application implementation projects within financial institutions preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and structured impact analysis skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work under pressure in 24x7 environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support and troubleshoot issues in production.
• Troubleshoot using Linux, Unix shell scripting, SQL, and Java.
• Conduct structured impact analysis and root cause analyses to resolve incidents.
• Support application implementation projects within financial institutions.
• Troubleshoot applications involving Hadoop, Kubernetes/VMware Pacific, and microservices concepts.
• Maintain high service quality in a 24x7 support environment through analytical problem-solving and effective communication.
