Job summary

Workvivo is seeking a Solutions Engineer to lead pre-sales engagements across APJ, translating enterprise requirements into tailored Workvivo solutions. You will conduct persona-based demos for HQ, Seer, Chat, and Analytics, and drive technical wins with account teams and partners.

You will fluently present in English and Japanese, guide discovery sessions, and own cross-functional collaboration with Product, CX, and Onboarding.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, or Technical Consulting within a SaaS organisation or technology industry.
Fluency in English and Japanese, written and spoken, with ability to lead customer-facing engagements and workshops in either language.
Proven track record supporting complex enterprise sales cycles with six-figure-plus ARR deal closures.
Strong technical acumen across APIs, integrations, SSO/SAML, HRIS data flows, enterprise search, and AI/ML concepts.
Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills translating platform capabilities into executive-ready narratives.
Self-starter with autonomy across a geographically dispersed region, able to travel 20-30% within APJ.
Experience in Employee Experience, HR Technology, Internal Communications, Digital Workplace, or AI-powered enterprise search is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Lead consultative discovery sessions to uncover goals, pain points, tech stacks, and success metrics; translate findings into Workvivo solutions tied to measurable outcomes.
Design and deliver persona-based demonstrations across Workvivo HQ, HQ Agent, Seer, Chat, Workvivo TV, and Analytics; connect capabilities to CHRO, CPO, CIO, and Internal Communications priorities.
Own the Solutions Engineering motion across APJ; manage opportunities end-to-end through qualification, validation, PoC, RFP/RFI responses, security questionnaires, and commercial close.
Serve as primary SE for Japanese-language opportunities, leading discovery, demonstrations, and technical conversations in Japanese.
Collaborate with Product Management to influence roadmap priorities with localisation and APJ-specific requirements.
Enable Channel Partners and generalist SEs with product knowledge, demo best practices, and competitive positioning.
Coordinate with Customer Experience and Onboarding to ensure seamless handovers and contribute to expansion opportunities.
