Job summary

Hello Group Inc. in Singapore seeks an experienced HR Manager to own the full HR function for the APAC region. The role blends strategy with hands-on execution, covering Singapore end-to-end and EOR hiring across APAC.

80% HR work and 20% office administration, with a lean, startup-like culture and use of AI tools to automate routine tasks. Reporting to the Regional Director, the role requires strong payroll, compensation, and compliance capabilities, plus Mandarin for liaising with Beijing

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including sole/lead HR for a company or country.
• Strong knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act and related statutory filings.
• Experience coordinating EOR hiring across APAC markets.
• Experience in start-up or lean-team environments with hands-on execution.
• Proficiency with AI tools to automate HR workflows.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with regional leadership.
• Business-level Mandarin required for payroll and secondment matters.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain job architecture and salary bands across all levels, benchmarked against real market data.
• Lead salary increment cycles and share option pool allocation by performance rating.
• Structure promotion and incentive packages, including cost-sharing and equity/cash components.
• Manage compensation and cost allocation for Beijing secondees and EOR staff.
• Act as HR Business Partner on headcount planning, org structure and workforce decisions.
• Own HR budgeting and forecasting, including headcount cost planning aligned with P&L.
• Coordinate end-to-end EOR hiring across APAC (Korea, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines).
• Prepare and reconcile Singapore payroll, including secondees and EOR staff.
• Maintain HR compliance (CPF, SDL, Employment Act) and work pass administration.
