Job summary

Platform&Co is seeking a Regional Human Resources Expert to lead HR operations across the APAC region, guiding regional strategies, ensuring compliance, and supporting HR leaders in each subsidiary.

As a trusted advisor to regional and local leaders, you will drive HR digital transformation, analytics for workforce planning, and champion diversity, equity and inclusion across the region. Regional travel will be required to support multi-country initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in HRM, Business Admin or International Business.
• IHRP certification is an advantage.
• Bilingual English; Japanese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor HR heads in APAC subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with regional and global HR strategies.
• Oversee regional HR initiatives and facilitate best practice sharing among local teams.
• Support HR heads in managing employee relations and navigating local labor laws.
• Serve as the main HR contact for regional leadership and local HR heads.
• Drive HR digital transformation and leverage analytics for workforce planning and strategy.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and ethical standards across all APAC subsidiaries.
• Oversee performance management, total rewards, and talent development initiatives.
• Promote employee engagement, DEI, and a unified organizational culture.

About the Role

Our client, a Japanese leading multinational company, is seeking a seasoned Human Resources professional to lead and coordinate HR operations across the APAC region. This strategic role focuses on guiding and supporting HR leaders in each subsidiary, setting regional HR strategies, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement.

As a trusted advisor to regional and local business leaders, you will foster a culture of innovation, engagement, and high performance across the region.

Preferred Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 10 years of relevant HR experience, with regional or multi-country exposure.
• Proven experience leading HR teams across multiple countries or subsidiaries.
• Strong knowledge of organizational and talent development, performance management, and HR operations.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and intercultural skills.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms and analytics.
• Willingness to travel within the APAC region as required.
