Job summary

RemotePeople is seeking an experienced APAC Manager – Recruitment Services to lead and grow our recruitment business across the Asia-Pacific region in a fully remote, hands-on leadership role.

You will coach a distributed team across China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia, drive growth, win new clients, and own the commercial performance of APAC. This role blends people leadership with business development and direct recruitment delivery in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a recruitment agency, ideally 360 recruitment.
• Proven ability to coach recruitment consultants and drive performance.
• Track record in business development and revenue growth.
• Knowledge of APAC recruitment markets including China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.
• Experience leading remote multi-country teams.
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and coach a remote team of Recruitment Consultants across APAC.
• Drive team performance through coaching, target setting and pipeline reviews.
• Own growth and commercial performance of the APAC region.
• Develop new clients through proactive business development and relationships with HR leaders and hiring managers.
• Generate new recruitment mandates and negotiate terms.
• Expand relationships with existing clients and opportunities to broaden APAC services.
• Remain hands-on with recruitment for senior assignments as required.
• Support consultants with business development, sourcing strategies, client management and negotiations.
• Identify new markets and opportunities to support expansion across APAC.
• Collaborate with global leadership to execute regional growth strategy.
