Job summary

Nscale is seeking an experienced Senior Director, Development – APAC to lead front-end development and design activities for APAC data centre projects. Reporting to the SVP Head of Development, you will guide projects from acquisition through handover, while building and leading a growing team across multiple APAC jurisdictions.

You’ll coordinate capacity management, permitting, and pre-delivery handover, ensuring world-class standards while aligning with regional partners and customers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in development or project leadership roles, ideally in data centre, mission-critical, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Fluency in English; other APAC languages are an advantage.
• Startup-ready mindset with autonomy and accountability.
• Ability to lead across regions, time zones, and disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of front-end development across APAC data centre projects, from site identification to Delivery handover.
• Provide design leadership to streamline scalable, repeatable solutions.
• Shape and drive APAC development strategy aligned with growth objectives and regulatory environments.
• Build and lead a regional team, coordinating design, development, construction, cost, and operations.
• Oversee project delivery with internal and external stakeholders to ensure AI-enabled data centre solutions.
