DP World Asia Pacific PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Manager, Customer Implementation – APAC to own the implementation strategy across Freight Forwarding, 4PL and Contract Logistics.

This regional role leads onboarding and rollout of new customers, drives standards and governance, and builds a high-performing implementation team to ensure smooth go‑live and a consistently excellent customer experience across APAC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in the Ocean Freight Forwarding industry, ideally within a large multinational organisation.
• Demonstrated expertise in Trade Management and Ocean Freight operations.
• Proven ability to deliver results with a commercial mindset and customer-centric approach.
• Strategic yet action-oriented, with the ability to translate plans into business outcomes.
• Skilled negotiator with a focus on achieving desired results.
• Proven ability to manage virtual, cross-regional teams in a multinational environment.
• Strong networking and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to lead large internal and client meetings.
• Comfortable operating in a complex corporate environment and making high-impact decisions.
• Passion for coaching and developing talent across cultures and markets.
• Able to travel internationally up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain APAC-wide implementation standards, SOPs, governance, risk controls and compliance frameworks.
• Lead complex client onboarding and solution rollouts across Freight Forwarding, 4PL and Contract Logistics, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget.
• Translate client requirements into clear and executable implementation plans, partnering closely with Sales, Product & IT, Operations, Finance and Legal.
• Embed trade, customs and safety requirements into implementation plans, proactively managing risks and ensuring smooth go-lives.
• Establish KPIs, monitor delivery quality and customer satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement to scale best practices across APAC.
• Oversee system configuration, data migration and SOP rollout with IT and Operations to ensure robust, fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing regional implementation team, building accountability and collaboration across markets.
• Act as the primary escalation point, provide clear progress updates, resolve issues quickly, and build trusted relationships with clients and senior executives.
