Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking an experienced Implementation Manager to lead the timely delivery of customer deployments in our data centres across APAC. You will coordinate internal and external resources, procurement, and project communication to ensure on-time, on-budget, and error-free handovers.

This role requires overseeing multiple simultaneous projects, managing BOMs, POs, vendor relationships, and CM changes, while collaborating with customers and cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• University degree preferably technical (BA/BS, Engineering, TeleCom, Computer Science).
• 10 years’ experience in deployment of fixtures and infrastructure in a data centre environment (Telco/Colo/Hosting).
• Or minimum 5 years in operations, data centre construction or telecommunications/engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of rack, cage, electrical distribution, and data cable infrastructure.
• Reading/interpreting construction plans, single‑line drawings, and construction specs.
• Experience in an international organisation with APAC/EMEA/US teams.
• MS Office/Visio proficiency; Salesforce, ServiceNow, Oracle experience.
• PM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage effective execution of all assigned customer implementation projects, per contracts and timelines.
• Interface with customers during delivery; coordinate with CSMs to align service wraps.
• End‑to‑end project planning, coordination of work, resource allocation, and timelines.
• Create BOM and scope/spec for each sub‑trade to implement customer requirements.
• Create project Purchase Orders for outsourced work.
• Allocate work to Remote Hands technicians, vendors, and Security; ensure delivery meets requirements.
• Assist with pre‑sales timelines and budgets; support RFPs and vendor selection.
• Manage customer acceptance after completion and hand‑over to Operations.
• Report lessons learned to Implementation Services Lead; coordinate on‑site deliveries.
• Manage project cost reporting and documentation; submit Change Management requests if needed.
• Submit vendor access requests; ensure access validation to keep on schedule.
• Support intra‑APAC capacity upgrade projects in data halls; cover other resources when needed.
• Handle orders after lease commencement; some may not require full-scale projects.
