APAC Commercial & Chartering Lead

Job summary

Aesen Group in Singapore seeks an experienced business development professional to drive commercial growth across APAC markets and key accounts. You will lead chartering activities from opportunity identification to contract award, building strong client relationships and supporting revenue and asset utilisation targets.

Collaborating with the GM, APAC and regional teams, you will advance strategic partnerships, new market entry, and cross-border opportunities while ensuring compliance with HSQE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as specified in the education section.
• 5–8 years of relevant commercial, business development or sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of offshore marine, oil & gas, EPC, marine logistics sectors.
• Experience in tender preparation, pricing, cost modelling and contract negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development and manage the commercial pipeline across APAC markets and key accounts.
• Lead commercial and chartering activities including pre-qualifications, RFQs, tenders, bid strategy, pricing and cost modelling, internal approvals, and contract negotiations.
• Manage commercial forecasting and CRM records with opportunities, awards, revenue and profits, asset utilisation, and follow-up actions.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Support regional growth initiatives including strategic partnerships, new market entry, and cross-border opportunities across APAC.
• Ensure commercial activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures, and HSQE requirements.
