Job summary

Nscale is hiring an APAC Senior Construction Manager to deliver AI data center infrastructure in Singapore, coordinating with regional teams. You will lead high-dependency projects, ensuring safe, compliant, on-time delivery of power, cooling, and data center readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering data centre construction or mission-critical infrastructure.
• Strong experience in construction execution and document control.
• Proven ability to manage contractors and vendors on tight schedules.
• Proficiency with project platforms (Aconex, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, SharePoint).
• Willingness to travel across APAC (≈30%).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end construction delivery projects for AI data centre infrastructure in APAC.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of site enablement works across APAC (temporary works, safety, procurement, logistics, site management).
• Develop and implement strategic plans for APAC, optimizing cost-effectiveness and operational excellence.
• Manage contractors and specialist vendors across MEP, controls/BMS, fire, security, network readiness, and fit-out works.
• Lead the full lifecycle of complex data center builds (greenfield/retrofits), ensuring compliance with specs, timelines and budgets.
• Own construction workflows: approvals, RFIs, submittals, ITPs, NCRs, inspections, punch lists, closeout.
• Drive commissioning readiness and handover: test packs, SAT/FAT evidence, as-builts, O&M manuals, training, turnover to operations.
• Lead document control governance: version control, approvals, traceability, registers, audit-ready dossiers.
• Run project cadence and reporting: weekly updates, action tracking, issue logs, escalation of blockers, executive-ready reporting.
• Report to Project Manager on scope compliance, variations, EOTs, or risks to schedule or milestones.
• Provide regular construction updates, risk evaluation and mitigation, forecasting of critical works to leadership.
• Champion EHS standards and regulatory compliance in APAC countries.
