Job summary

Breeze is seeking an Account Manager, APAC, based in Singapore to own day-to-day relationships with a growing portfolio of APAC merchants. You will drive adoption, onboarding, and expansion, coordinating with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Risk & Compliance to ensure live deployments and ongoing value.

Responsibilities include onboarding new merchants, handling API questions, triaging issues, and identifying upsell opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or a similar client-facing role at a fintech or technology company.
• Minimum conversational proficiency in Mandarin is required for this role.
• Track record of managing a portfolio of client relationships with revenue growth potential.
• Basic technical foundations from working in a tech environment: understand APIs and webhooks; read error messages and escalate when needed.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with global Sales, Product, Engineering, and Risk & Compliance teams.
• Familiarity with how online payments work (authorization, refunds, chargebacks, settlement) or willingness to learn quickly.
• Ability to use AI tools for research, troubleshooting, drafting, and automation.
• Clear communicator who explains technical topics to merchants and works with engineers.
• Organized and able to manage many merchants simultaneously, prioritizing effectively.
• Proactive and comfortable in fast-moving environments without a fixed playbook.
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day relationship with a portfolio of APAC merchants, driving adoption, retention, and expansion.
• Onboard newly signed merchants and guide them through onboarding and go-live, coordinating with Solutions and Engineering teams.
• Handle first-line API integration questions and guide merchants through documentation to shorten time to revenue.
• Triage merchant issues and escalate to Product, Engineering, Risk, Legal, Compliance teams as needed.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, conduct regular account check-ins and business reviews.
• Track and report on retention, revenue growth, merchant satisfaction, and account health; keep CRM up to date.
