Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. at Changi Airport is hiring for a shift-based Operations Associate to support baggage handling and facility coordination. The role involves coordinating with Baggage Coordinators and engineering teams during handovers and shift starts.

You will ensure adequate staffing for arrival, departure, and transfer handling, and prepare SitReps and reports for management. Strong communication and customer-service skills are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in an operations environment and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to quickly evaluate large amounts of information and come up with sound decisions under time constraints.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Well-developed customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to develop and foster effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Airline/Airport apron and/or baggage operations an asset.
• Demonstrate ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Class 3/3A driving license required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Baggage Coordinator (BC) and Engineering Baggage Control Room Supervisors for any areas to focus on during start of shift at the BHA.
• Ensure daily manning levels of the GHA for arrival, departure, and transfer handling are sufficient.
• Prepare and send various reports/SitReps to the Baggage Coordinator to collation and report.
• Ensure the BHA is always kept clean and tidy by working with FM External and other stakeholders.
• Report to FMC for any issues with the facilities and cleaning.
• Facilitate Joint Inspections with stakeholders together with Airside Support Officers or higher.
• Close coordination with all stakeholders in the BHA.
