Job summary

PERSOL Outsourcing Singapore is hiring for an on-site Baggage Operations Coordinator at Changi Airport on a 1-year contract (renewable/convertible). The role runs a two-day shift cycle (2 days on, 2 days off) with 8:30am to 8:30pm and 8:30pm to 8:30am shifts; candidates must commit to both shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum Higher Nitec or equivalent education.
• 2 years of airline/airport operations experience preferred.
• On-site work in baggage handling area is required.
• Class 3 driving license is preferred to operate baggage trucks.
• Ability to work shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Implementing the seasonal schedule by ensuring the relevant parties update the operational database with real-time data
• Preparing various reports, such as Sitrep, for internal and external stakeholders
• Manually updating Baggage Information and Flight Information Displays
• Troubleshooting multiple, often simultaneous, scheduling conflicts as they arise
• Coordinating with Engineering Baggage Control Room for any real time operational changes and challenges in the BHA
• Ensuring Arrival Baggage Presentation performance and mishandling rate are met or exceeds KPI
• Facilitate Joint Inspections with stakeholders together with Airside Support Officers or higher
• Close coordination with all baggage stakeholders for VIP flights and exception handling
• Attend to incident on-site and carry out investigation procedures
