Job summary

PERSOL in Singapore is seeking a Baggage Operations Support role at Changi Airport. The position is a 1-year contract (renewable/convertible) requiring on-site work in baggage handling areas and shift work.

Responsibilities include real-time ground monitoring, coordinating with the baggage shift team and control room engineers, ensuring KPI targets for baggage presentation and mishandling, plus audits and exception handling flights.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma with relevant education.
• Experience in airline/airport operations environment preferred (2 years).
• On-site work in baggage handling areas is required.
• Class 3 driving license is a plus for baggage truck duties.
• Familiarity with gate and baggage scheduling systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ground monitoring of BHA and baggage operations, providing real-time information to airlines and partners.
• Coordinate with Integrated Baggage Shift Team and Baggage Control Room Engineers for operational changes and challenges.
• Ensure Arrival Baggage Presentation performance and mishandling rate meet KPIs.
• Conduct ground enforcements in BHA, planeside observation and audits on baggage operations.
• Coordinate with baggage stakeholders on exception handling flights (e.g. VVIP flights, special missions).
