Job summary

Air-Chin is seeking an Airlines Operation Officer at Singapore Changi Airport, Terminal 1. You will oversee day-to-day airline ground traffic, supervise turnarounds, and coordinate with ground handlers, catering, fueling, and maintenance teams to keep schedules on track.

The role requires fluency in Chinese for communication with our China headquarters and internal teams, and the ability to read internal documents issued exclusively in Chinese.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in aviation, logistics, business, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of airline ground operations and safety procedures.
• Experience in airport/ground handling and shift work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee airline ground operations, including aircraft turnaround activities.
• Coordinate with ground handlers, baggage services, catering, fueling, cleaning, and maintenance teams.
• Monitor flight schedules to ensure on-time departures and arrivals.
• Communicate with pilots, ATC (where applicable), airport authorities, and operations control centers.
• Ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations and company policies.
• Handle disruptions such as delays, cancellations, weather issues, or equipment failures.
• Prepare operational reports and maintain records.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
