Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an Airfreight Import Specialist to manage end-to-end import shipments in Singapore. You will coordinate with customers, airlines and partners to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation.

You will handle customs clearance, billing, and shipment closure, monitor progress, resolve issues promptly, and support junior team members in a fast-paced environment. Attention to service standards and proactive internal communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in airfreight import operations and customer service.
• Good knowledge of import documentation, customs clearance and billing procedures.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple shipments independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with CargoWise will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end airfreight import shipments, from arrival and customs clearance to delivery, billing and shipment closure.
• Liaise with customers, airlines, trucking partners and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely shipment delivery.
• Provide shipment updates, handle customer enquiries and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Prepare and check shipping documents, customs declarations and billing records for accuracy.
• Monitor shipment status and ensure compliance with service standards and operational procedures.
• Proactively resolve shipment delays and documentation issues while maintaining good customer relationships.
• Support and guide junior team members where required.

Working hours: Mon - Fri : 9am - 530pm, alternate Sat: 9am - 1pm

Location: Tanah Merah Region (Company transport/ pick-up point at: Admiralty, Sengkang, Tampines, Tanah Merah)

Salary: $3,500 - $4,000/month

Job scope:
