Job summary

TALENTS@WORK PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated airfreight import customer service professional to manage end-to-end shipments from arrival to billing. You will serve as the primary contact for clients, coordinating with airlines, handlers and partners to ensure smooth operation.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills, with prior CargoWise experience preferred. Company transport is provided and the position is based at Alps Avenue in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Experience in airfreight forwarding import customer service is required.
• Solid knowledge of import operations, documentation and customs clearance.
• Ability to handle billing processes for shipments.
• Strong customer service and coordination skills.
• Capacity to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Experience with CargoWise is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end airfreight import shipments including arrival, docs, customs clearance, delivery, billing and closure.
• Act as main contact for customers on import shipments.
• Provide timely shipment updates and resolve operational issues.
• Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, trucking, customs and internal teams.
• Monitor status and ensure service standards and procedures are followed.
• Support junior staff and escalate unresolved issues to management.
• Identify bottlenecks and suggest process improvements.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and regulatory docs.

Salary: Up to $4,000/month

Working Location: Alps Avenue (Company Transport provided from multiple MRT stations)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm

Alternate Saturday: 9:00am - 1:00pm

Job Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end airfreight import shipments, including shipment arrival, documentation, customs clearance, delivery coordination, billing and shipment closure.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding import shipments.
• Provide timely shipment updates, handle enquiries and resolve operational issues.
• Coordinate with airlines, ground handling agents, trucking partners, customs authorities and internal teams.
• Monitor shipment status and ensure timely execution according to service standards and internal procedures.
• Handle delays, documentation discrepancies and customs-related queries.
• Take ownership of complex or high-value shipments and proactively resolve operational issues.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, reports and regulatory documentation.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
• Support and guide junior customer service staff on airfreight import procedures.
• Escalate unresolved customer or operational issues to management and ensure proper follow-up.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in airfreight forwarding import customer service .
• Good knowledge of airfreight import operations, documentation, customs clearance and billing.
• Strong operational and problem-solving skills.
• Good customer service, communication and coordination skills.
• Able to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• CargoWise experience is preferred.
