Job summary

A leading global logistics and freight forwarding company in Singapore seeks an experienced professional to manage end-to-end air freight import shipments from origin to delivery. You will coordinate with overseas offices, airlines, terminals, transporters and vendors to ensure smooth movement, provide updates and handle issues.

The role requires at least 2 years in freight forwarding or logistics customer service; Diploma/Degree preferred, with WFS/Tango knowledge advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of freight forwarding, air freight, import/export or logistics customer service experience.
• Good understanding of air import processes and shipment documentation.
• Key account, billing or special cargo experience is an advantage.
• Diploma/Degree preferred; relevant experience can be considered in place of education.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end air freight import shipments, from origin through cargo clearance to final delivery.
• Coordinate with overseas offices, airlines, terminals, transporters and vendors to ensure smooth shipment movement.
• Provide customers with timely shipment updates and handle enquiries, delays, discrepancies and cargo-related issues.
• Prepare and process shipment documentation, permits and system updates according to customer SOPs.
• Support billing, invoicing, customer account setup and operational/KPI reporting.
• Ensure shipments meet customer requirements, operational KPIs and regulatory requirements.

The Job:
