Job summary

Maersk is seeking an experienced Senior Airfreight Sales professional to drive the Southeast Asia airfreight portfolio. You will partner with Sales teams to win strategic customers, translate requirements into end-to-end logistics solutions, and lead pricing, RFQs, and proposals across multiple countries.

You will act as a commercial expert bridging Product, Sales, and Operations to deliver value, manage key accounts, and drive growth in a matrix organisation within a dynamic, global logistics

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Airfreight sales or related roles.
• Experience in client-facing roles, including presentations and negotiations.
• Strong understanding of pricing, RFQs, and market dynamics in Airfreight.
• Experience managing or supporting key accounts in a matrix organisation.
• Proficiency with Salesforce; familiarity with CargoWise and Power BI is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into insights.
• Leadership experience is a plus; high-potential ICs welcome.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Sales teams to co-develop and win customers, actively supporting in engagements, pitches, and solution design.
• Act as a client-facing commercial expert, bringing Airfreight product knowledge into sales conversations.
• Support Sales in new business acquisition and key account expansion, with a focus on commercial outcomes.
• Collaborate on strategic account planning, ensuring alignment between customer needs and Airfreight capabilities.
• Lead pricing strategies, RFQs, and commercial proposals; structure winning bids and optimise outcomes.
• Leverage data and tools (Salesforce, CargoWise, Power BI) to track pipeline, performance, and conversion rates.
