Job summary

MTC Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Airfreight Specialist to manage end-to-end import and export shipments from Singapore. You will coordinate bookings, documentation, customs clearance, and billing while delivering timely updates to customers.

Responsibilities include guiding junior staff, resolving delays, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining shipment records and reporting KPIs. The position requires a Diploma and at least five years in airfreight, with CargoWise

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant airfreight/freight forwarding experience.
• Proficient in CargoWise.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end airfreight import and export shipments, including booking, documentation, customs clearance, billing, and shipment closure.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing shipment updates and resolving operational issues.
• Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, trucking partners, customs, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.
• Handle complex or high-value shipments and resolve delays, documentation discrepancies, and customs issues.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, reports, and regulatory documentation.
• Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer service.
• Guide junior customer service staff on airfreight procedures and documentation.
• Escalate unresolved operational or customer issues to management when necessary.

Working Hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00am–6:30pm | Alternate Sat, 9:00am–1:00pm
