Job summary

Adecco Personnel Pte Ltd (Perm) in Singapore is seeking a Junior Airfreight Customer Service Executive for Import & Export. Based in Changi Alps, you will handle airfreight shipments from booking to delivery and keep customers updated about status and schedules.

Coordinate with airlines, overseas agents, transporters and internal teams; prepare MAWB/HAWB and shipping documents; monitor milestones and assist with billing while adhering to SOPs.

Qualifications

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• 1-2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping or customer service.
• Air Import and/or Air Export exposure is advantageous.
• CargoWise is NOT compulsory; other logistics systems accepted.
• Good communication, coordination and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle and coordinate Air Import OR Export shipments from booking through shipment completion.
• Provide customers with timely updates on shipment status, flight schedules, delays and delivery arrangements.
• Coordinate with airlines, overseas agents, transporters, warehouses and internal operations teams.
• Prepare and process airfreight documentation such as MAWB, HAWB, pre-alerts and shipping documents.
• Monitor shipment milestones and follow up on delays, discrepancies and operational issues.
• Support customs clearance and cargo delivery arrangements.
• Update shipment information accurately in the system.
• Support billing, invoicing and shipment/job closure.
• Ensure shipments are handled according to customer SOPs and operational requirements.

Company Transport Provided - Selected pick-up points from the West, North & East

Mon-Fri: 9:00am-5:30pm

Alternate Sat: 9:00am-1:30pm
