Job summary

TALENTS@WORK PTE. LTD. is seeking an organized airfreight professional to manage import shipments end-to-end, coordinating with customers, airlines, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery.

Your role will involve handling documentation, customs clearance, billing, and shipment closure while maintaining accurate records and supporting junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in airfreight import customer service or operations.
• Knowledge of end-to-end airfreight export processes including documentation, customs, and billing.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple shipments.
• Hands-on experience with CargoWise is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end airfreight import shipments including arrival coordination, documentation, customs clearance, delivery arrangement, billing and shipment closure.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers on import shipment enquiries, updates and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with airlines, ground handling agents, trucking partners, customs authorities and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor shipment status and ensure compliance with internal procedures, SLAs and KPIs.
• Resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies and customs-related issues proactively.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, reports and supporting documentation.
• Identify workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Support junior team members on import procedures and documentation where required (For Senior position).

Key Responsibilities
