Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Singapore is seeking a dedicated team member for the IFF department to provide seamless, customer-focused airfreight solutions and support business objectives. You will handle calls, inquiries, document checks, and coordination with overseas agents to ensure accurate shipments.

Essential qualifications include GCE O levels, 1-2 years of customer service experience, and strong English communication. The role emphasizes timely updates, SOP adherence, and KPI-driven performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ levels.
• Able to work over-time when required.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• 1-2 years customer service-related experience. Experience in freight-forwarding(airfreight) is advantageous.
• Work Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls promptly and politely.
• Respond to customer enquiries promptly.
• Handle all air shipment interface with multiple stakeholders on shipment requirements.
• Booking of flights with procurement team.
• Check on AWB/HAWB and all other necessary shipping documents and feedback to customer and overseas agent if any discrepancy/non-compliance issue.
• Ensure all data are updated correctly in system.
• Liaise with overseas agents on various requirements and rates.
• Obtain rate approval from customer before shipment execution.
• Provide flight details and feedback to customer on freight status timely.
• To ensure AED compliance and job file closures within KPI.
• Monitor shipment uplift and transit to ensure timely arrival/delivery to consignee, and update shipment delays to shipper and destination stations when occurs.
• Good understanding of customer's SOP and shipment handling requirement by ensuring compliance prior to shipping, with customer satisfaction.
• Provide airfreight quotations upon application.
• Monitor progress to achieve month end targets/ annual objectives and KPI.
• Take charge of Supplier's invoice disputes.
• Timely escalation of issues/ concerns that requires broader attention and resolution.
• Resolve discrepancies through team effort by working with team mates on resolution.
• Supporting others on shipment execution when necessary.
• Take on all other ad-hoc tasks delegated by Supervisor/Manager.
• QHSE: Participate in the set-up and follow-up of internal standard procedures to enhance productivity and transparency.
• Maintain acceptable Health, Safety and Environmental risk levels in his/her area of responsibility.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements.
