Job summary

Dimerco Express Singapore PTE LTD is seeking a proactive Sales Support professional to assist the Sales Manager in servicing major accounts and maintaining strong customer relationships. You will handle inquiries, prepare quotations, and coordinate air freight shipments with overseas agents and internal teams.

The role requires 1-2 years related experience, good communication, and proficiency in MS Office. Applicants should be able to work independently in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• : diploma in marketing, business or logistics required
• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred in freight forwarding, air freight, sales or customer service
• Knowledge of air freight import/export processes and Incoterms is a plus
• Experience in preparing quotations and coordinating shipments
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word and Outlook
• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment

Responsibilities

• Support the Sales Manager in servicing and maintaining key accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and service issues with timely follow-up and resolution.
• Prepare quotations, maintain customer rates, and assist with pricing discussions.
• Coordinate air import/export shipments with overseas agents and internal teams, providing shipment updates.
• Monitor urgent shipments and ensure adherence to SOPs.
• Prepare customer reports and assist with internal sales reporting.
• Follow up on quotations and identify business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records in the system for customers, quotations, rates and shipments.
• Stay updated on air freight market trends and product knowledge.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

What You'll Do

• Support the Sales Manager in servicing and maintaining MNC and Key Account customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and service issues, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
• Prepare quotations, maintain updated customer rates and assist with pricing discussions.
• Coordinate air import and export shipments with overseas agents and internal Operations teams, providing timely shipment updates to customers.
• Monitor urgent shipments, resolve service issues and adhere to customer-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Prepare customer reports and assist with internal sales reports and account performance summaries.
• Follow up on quotations and support the Sales Manager in identifying business opportunities and achieving sales targets.
• Maintain accurate customer, quotation, rate and shipment records in the system.
• Keep updated on air freight market trends and product knowledge.
• Perform other duties and assignments as assigned by Management.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma in Marketing, Business, Logistics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in freight forwarding, air freight, sales or customer service.
• Good understanding of air freight import/export processes; knowledge of Incoterms and shipping procedures will be an advantage.
• Experience in preparing quotations and coordinating shipments.
• Good communication, interpersonal, follow-up and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Proactive, responsible and customer-focused, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
