Job summary

Dimerco Express Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive Air Export Customer Service professional. This role focuses on booking air export shipments, coordinating with customers and internal teams, and ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates on freight progress.

Ideal candidates will have an ITE or Diploma in Logistics or related field, plus 1 year experience in airfreight or related logistics, and strong Excel and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Manage and execute air export shipment bookings.
• Coordinate with both customers and internal stakeholders to ensure shipment readiness and adherence to delivery schedules.
• Prepare and process all required documentation, including invoices, reports, permits, and Airway Bills, in an accurate and timely manner.
• Provide flight details promptly and keep customers updated on freight status and delivery progress.
• Ensure timely submission of cost approvals, GST billing, and payment collection.
• Respond to customer inquiries promptly and effectively, ensuring high service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Perform other duties and assignments as assigned by Management.

What We’re Looking For

• ITE and Diploma graduates, or candidates with relevant qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain, Freight Forwarding, or related fields are welcome to apply.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in airfreight customer service, air export, co-loading, freight forwarding, or related logistics functions. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with other Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of air freight operations and shipment documentation will be an advantage.
• A proactive and fast learner with a strong sense of responsibility and willingness to learn.
• Able to multitask, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good customer service, communication, interpersonal, and follow-up skills.
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good coordination skills to work effectively with customers, internal departments, overseas offices, and external service providers.
• A responsible team player who is adaptable and able to work independently when required.
