Job summary

Dimerco Express Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an Operations Executive to manage daily air import processes, including pre-alerts, MAWB/HAWB, and customs clearance, ensuring on-time delivery.

You will coordinate with customers, airlines, agents and internal teams, maintain records, prepare invoices, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Air Freight Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in air freight forwarding operations, preferably with exposure to air import handling.
• Basic understanding of air freight processes, shipping documentation, and customs clearance procedures.
• Ability to handle daily operational tasks accurately and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily air import operations from pre-alert to shipment delivery.
• Handle end-to-end air import documentation including MAWB/HAWB processing and customs clearance.
• Monitor shipment status via in-house systems and update customers promptly.
• Respond to customer inquiries on shipment status and operational issues in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with customers, airlines, overseas agents, transporters, brokers, and internal teams for smooth execution.
• Track incoming shipments and act on pre-alerts to ensure clearance and delivery planning.
• Arrange trucking and delivery schedules with warehouse vendors and transporters.
• Resolve shipment exceptions to minimize delays and disruptions.
• Prepare shipment costing, billing, and customer invoices accurately.
• Maintain organized documentation for audit and reference.

What You’ll Do

• Manage daily air import operations from pre-alert to shipment delivery.

• Handle end-to-end air import documentation, including MAWB/HAWB processing, permits, and customs clearance documents.

• Monitor shipment status via in-house systems and ensure timely updates to customers.

• Respond to customer inquiries on shipment status, delays, and operational issues in a timely and professional manner.

• Coordinate closely with customers, airlines, overseas agents, transporters, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.

• Track incoming shipments and act on pre-alerts promptly to ensure smooth clearance and delivery planning.

• Arrange trucking and delivery schedules with warehouse vendors and transporters.

• Resolve shipment exceptions and operational issues proactively to minimize delays and service disruptions.

• Prepare shipment costing, billing, and customer invoices accurately.

• Maintain organized documentation and records for audit and reference purposes.

• Perform other duties and assignments as assigned by Management.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Air Freight Management, Maritime Business, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in air freight forwarding operations, preferably with exposure to air import handling.

• Basic understanding of air freight processes, shipping documentation, and customs clearance procedures.

• Ability to handle daily operational tasks accurately and in a timely manner.

• Customer service mindset with good communication skills in handling shipment enquiries and updates.

• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to follow instructions in a structured operational environment.

• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support daily operations.
