Mainline Global Logistics Singapore invites an experienced Air Freight professional to manage the Singapore Branch P&L, reporting to the Country Manager. You will drive new business in air-freight, monitor rate enquiries, and negotiate with airlines to protect margins.

You will coordinate pricing and operations, handle RFQs, analyze market trends, and submit regular management reports. Strong leadership, negotiation, and MS Office skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Graduate with degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in the supply chain industry.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Job Description

• Manage the Singapore Branch Air Freight P&L - reporting to Country Manager
• To be accountable for new and potential customer/business specifically in the air-freight sector
• Monitor daily rate enquiries from local customers and overseas agents
• Timely response for all enquiries with multiple solutions and accuracy
• Negotiate with airlines, co loaders and shipping lines for best freight rates to ensure the profit margins and budgets are met
• Responsible for the management and handling of the RFQ response documents coming to the company
• Communicate and coordinate with pricing and operations team for efficient execution of shipments
• Handle any escalations for operations
• Maintain and submit reports to management
• Understand and analyze market trends, assist in providing pricing strategies for clients
• Coordinate with overseas partners for cross trade shipments

Job Requirements

• Minimum graduate, preferably in Business Management, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years in the supply chain industry
• Excellent leadership quality with communication and negotiation skills
• Good in Microsoft office applications
