Job summary

RiskData Consulting Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an OpenStack Platform Engineer to design, implement, automate, and maintain scalable OpenStack infrastructure.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform availability, security, and performance while leveraging AI-assisted automation to optimize operations. The role requires expert OpenStack and Red Hat Linux administration, strong Kubernetes, and experience with VMware ESX, Prometheus, and Elastic Stack.

Qualifications

• Expertise in OpenStack platform administration (Red Hat Linux).
• Strong Kubernetes platform management experience.
• Experience provisioning infrastructure with VMware ESX and monitoring with Prometheus.
• Familiarity with Elastic Stack for logging/analytics.
• Exposure to AI-assisted automation and AIOps concepts.
• Ability to implement security best practices and compliance.
• Ability to integrate OpenStack with CI/CD and IaC tools like Terraform/Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Red Hat OpenStack cloud infrastructure.
• Develop automation scripts for deployment and management of OpenStack environments.
• Integrate OpenStack with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and other systems.
• Troubleshoot complex OpenStack issues to maintain stability.
• Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with policies.
• Participate in capacity planning and performance optimizations.
• Manage change processes for upgrades and hotfixes.
• Explore and implement AI-assisted automation for OpenStack operations.
• Develop AI agents integrated with OpenStack APIs and tools.
• Document procedures and mentor team members.
