Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced OpenStack/Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and operate Red Hat OpenStack-based infrastructure, integrating Kubernetes/OpenShift and expanding automation across platforms.

You will apply IaC with Terraform and Ansible, ensure security and compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive AI-powered cloud operations. Leadership and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in cloud/infrastructure.
• Hands-on OpenStack, Red Hat Linux, and Kubernetes expertise.
• Experience with VMware ESX, Prometheus, and Elastic Stack.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, and AIOps concepts.
• Experience integrating AI agents and automation into cloud ops.
• Proficient in Python, Ansible, Terraform, and API usage.
• Strong written and verbal communication; leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain OpenStack-based cloud infra.
• Develop automation scripts for OpenStack deployment and management.
• Integrate OpenStack with Kubernetes/OpenShift and other systems.
• Troubleshoot complex OpenStack components and infra issues.
• Apply security best practices and enforce governance.
• Contribute to capacity planning, performance, and scalability.
• Assist in change management for platform upgrades and hotfixes.
• Explore Agentic AI and AIOps to enhance ops efficiency.
• Leverage AI-assisted automation for monitoring and remediation.
• Develop AI agents with OpenStack APIs and automation tools.
• Review code, perform unit testing, and document playbooks.
• Mentor less experienced team members on procedures.
