Job summary

Riskdata Consulting Pte. Ltd. seeks an OpenStack Platform Engineer to design, implement, automate, and maintain scalable OpenStack infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform availability, security, and performance while leveraging AI-assisted automation.

You will design and optimize automation scripts, integrate with Kubernetes/OpenShift, and mentor junior engineers while applying strong security and compliance practices.

Qualifications

• Proven Red Hat OpenStack administration experience.
• Strong Kubernetes platform management skills.
• Proficient Red Hat Linux administration knowledge.
• Demonstrated leadership in technical environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience applying AI, automation, and AIOps in infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain OpenStack cloud infrastructure for reliability and scalability.
• Develop automation scripts for deployment and management of OpenStack environments.
• Integrate OpenStack with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and other systems for interoperability.
• Troubleshoot complex OpenStack issues to ensure platform stability.
• Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with policies.
• Contribute to capacity planning and performance tuning of OpenStack environments.
• Assist in upgrades, hotfixes, and SysAdmin tasks to keep platform current.
• Explore Agentic AI and AIOps to automate administration tasks.
• Leverage AI-assisted monitoring for incident analysis and remediation.
• Develop AI agents with OpenStack APIs to streamline operations.
• Conduct root cause analysis and review code with unit testing.
• Author and maintain system documentation and playbooks.
• Mentor junior internal and third-party team members.
