Job summary

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform availability, security, and performance while leveraging AI-assisted automation to optimize operations. The role involves integrating OpenStack with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and other systems; driving automation, capacity planning, change management, and incident remediation;

Qualifications

• Expertise in OpenStack platform administration
• Kubernetes platform management
• Red Hat Linux administrationExperience provisioning infrastructure with VMware ESX
• Experience with logging/analytics using Elastic Stack
• Familiarity with Generative AI/LLMs and AIOps concepts
• Experience with AI agents and AI-assisted automation for cloud/OpenStack administration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex environments
• Excellent written and spoken communication; leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Red Hat OpenStack cloud infrastructure for reliability and scalability
• Develop and optimize automation scripts for deployment and management of OpenStack environments
• Integrate OpenStack with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and other systems for interoperability
• Troubleshoot and resolve OpenStack and underlying infra issues to maintain stability
• Implement security best practices and ensure policy compliance
• Contribute to capacity planning and performance optimization
• Manage change processes for upgrades, hotfixes, and admin tasks
• Explore Agentic AI and AIOps to improve OpenStack administration
• Use AI-assisted automation for monitoring, incident analysis, and remediation
• Develop and integrate AI agents with OpenStack APIs and automation tools
• Conduct root cause analysis, code reviews, and unit tests for quality
• Author and edit system documentation and playbooks
• Mentor less experienced internal and third-party team members
