Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an OpenStack Platform Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on cloud architecture experience to design, implement and maintain scalable OpenStack infrastructure.

You will automate deployments with Ansible/Terraform, integrate OpenStack with Kubernetes/OpenShift, and ensure security, performance and reliability across the platform. Strong communication and Linux administration skills are essential, and familiarity with AI/LLM driven ops is a plus.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in cloud/platform engineering or similar roles.
Strong expertise with Red Hat OpenStack platform and Kubernetes.
Proficient in Red Hat Linux administration and infrastructure provisioning tools.
Experience with automation tools like Terraform and Ansible for deployment and management.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Elastic Stack).
Experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi) and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of security best practices and platform hardening.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain Red Hat OpenStack-based cloud infrastructure.
Develop and optimize automation scripts for deployment and management of OpenStack environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate OpenStack with Kubernetes/OpenShift.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to OpenStack components and underlying infrastructure.
Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with policies.
Contribute to capacity planning and performance optimization for OpenStack environments.
Assist in change management and upgrades for OpenStack platforms.
Explore AI-assisted automation and AI agent integration to improve operations.
