Job summary

REGTECH INSIGHT PTE. LTD. seeks an OpenStack Platform Engineer to design, implement, and automate scalable OpenStack infrastructure in a Singapore environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure availability, security, and performance while leveraging AI-assisted automation to optimize operations. The role covers OpenStack design, automation development, AI agent integration, and capacity planning to support resilient cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Red Hat or OpenStack platform administration.
• Expertise in Kubernetes platform management.
• Red Hat Linux system administration experience.
• Experience provisioning infrastructure with VMware ESX and monitoring with Prometheus.
• Experience integrating with Elastic Stack for logging and analytics.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, and AIOps concepts.
• Experience with AI agents and AI-assisted automation for cloud operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership in technical environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Red Hat OpenStack cloud infrastructure for reliability and scalability.
• Develop and optimize automation scripts for deployment and management of OpenStack.
• Integrate OpenStack with Kubernetes/OpenShift and other systems for interoperability.
• Troubleshoot complex OpenStack and underlying infrastructure issues to maintain stability.
• Apply security best practices and ensure policy compliance to protect platform integrity.
• Contribute to capacity planning and performance optimization for scalable environments.
• Manage change processes for upgrades, hotfixes, and admin tasks.
• Explore Agentic AI and AIOps solutions to improve OpenStack administration.
• Use AI-assisted automation for monitoring, incident analysis, and remediation.
• Develop and integrate AI agents with OpenStack APIs and automation tools.
• Conduct root cause analysis, review code, and perform unit testing.
• Document system playbooks and procedures; mentor teammates.
