is seeking an Advanced Packaging Metrology-RDA Engineer to develop and enable innovative inspection and metrology techniques for advanced packaging technologies, drive yield improvements, and coordinate new metrology/RDA products with cross-functional teams. The role involves establishing equipment evaluation strategies and integrating AI-enabled tools to boost efficiency and quality, while aligning with the company roadmap and global quality

Qualifications

PhD with or Master's degree with ≥3 years, or Bachelor's with ≥5 years in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
Semiconductor process or equipment engineering experience, preferably in wafer bonding, plating, warpage control and packaging.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize metrology recipes for various semiconductor processes.
Ensure recipes are accurate and efficient for production needs.
Develop and execute strategies for process monitoring, sampling, and CIP.
Establish inspection methodologies and best-known methods for metrology processes.
Perform in-line characterization and validation of metrology recipes.
Utilize data analysis tools like Power BI to summarize and report on metrology status.
Continuously analyze data to identify improvement opportunities and ensure process efficiency.
Own and manage metrology tools, ensuring they meet performance indicators and quality standards.
Drive defense line readiness and set up OCAP and SPC charts.
Engage in early involvement with APTD to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
Work with Package Integration, PWF/Assembly Eng., Front End Wafer Fab, Assembly/Test Eng., Product Eng., Global Quality to integrate processes.
Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness.
Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements.
Must-have soft skills: strong analytical/problem-solving, outstanding communication/leadership, ability to work independently/in fast-paced environment, cross-functional collaboration.
AI literacy and baseline digital fluency for responsible use of AI-enabled tools.
