Job summary

WOODLANDS TRANSPORT SERVICE PTE LTD is seeking a logistics professional in Singapore to coordinate vehicle imports, ensuring compliance with Singapore's regulatory requirements and LTA VARS.

You will manage import documents, liaise with manufacturers in China, and serve as the main contact for LTA on registrations and approvals. The role is based at Gul Circle with a 5-day work week.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in vehicle importation or dealing with LTA is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of import procedures and regulatory requirements in Singapore.
• Able to start work within short notice (5 days).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with vehicle manufacturers and suppliers in China on orders, specifications, production schedules, and shipment arrangements.
• Manage all import documentation (e.g. commercial invoices, packing lists, compliance certificates, etc).
• Ensure vehicles meet Singapore’s technical and regulatory requirements before shipment. Familiarity with LTA’s VARS.
• Serve as the main point of contact with LTA for all import and registration matters.
• Prepare and submit documents for vehicle type approval, homologation, and pre-registration inspections.
• Ensure vehicle meet LTA compliance requirements (e.g., emissions, safety standards, VIN confirmation).
