An Administrative Assistant provides essential clerical and operational support to ensure office efficiency. Key responsibilities include managing schedules, handling correspondence (emails/phones), filing documents, organizing meetings, maintaining office supplies, and acting as a primary point of contact for staff and visitors.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Calendar Management: Scheduling appointments, meetings, and conferences for staff.
- Communication Hub: Answering and routing phone calls, greeting visitors, and managing emails.
- Document Control: Preparing reports, drafting correspondence, filing, scanning, and updating databases.
- Office Operations: Maintaining office supplies, equipment maintenance, and ensuring a tidy office environment.
- Administrative Support: Assisting with travel arrangements, data entry, and sometimes basic bookkeeping.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Software: Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Adobe Acrobat PDF.
- Organization: Excellent time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
